Blackboard ’s teaching and learning conference 2018: Discover the latest education technology innovations

For its 9th edition, Blackboard’s Teaching & Learning Conference (TLC) 2018 highlight the best practices in the provision of technology-enhanced learning. This event will take place from 9th to 12th April 2018 in the University of Manchester, UK.

The agenda is full of sessions, conferences and debates, where influencers from the teaching and learning community will share their best experiences and show the latest education technology innovations. It is a network space with peers from across Europe and beyond, with more than 400 delegates from differents countries, representing more than 100 institutions.

According to the organizers, “the greatest growth sector in education is expected to be in the adoption of digital textbooks, multimedia, and tools. Today’s learners are more technologically savvy, and consequently have higher expectations on the institutions they attend”.

This is why, Authôt is very proud to be part of this adventure this year, in order to introduce its innovative technology and the new partnership with Blackboard!

Authot's Blackboard building block is the perfect solution for British colleges and universities, that must legally make digital content accessible to students with disabilities, according the Equality and Human Rights Commission of Great Britain. These educations centers have to provide Braille, large-print, or screen reader versions of coursework to students with low vision, and transcribing and captioning videos for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
