Live translation demonstration at the VIVA Technology trade show
May has come and many startups are preparing themselves for the big annual high-tech trade show: VIVA Technology. Including Authôt. Indeed, along with The Home of Translation, we will be giving live demonstrations of our new technologies to accelerate accessibility and professional interpreting globally. For us, the quality of words and language is a major criterion and we are proud to share it with a large number of professionals and individuals. We reveal here what you can expect from us and The Home of Translation at this international “rendezvous”.
VIVA Technology celebrates the best innovations globally
VIVA Technology is a French trade show, a specific high-tech exhibition.
Dedicated to innovation, technologies and startups, VIVA Technology was created in 2016. It is organized by Les Echos and Publicis Group. The two first days are dedicated to startups, professionals, investors and academics. The event is open to the public on a third day.
This year it will take place as usual in Paris, Porte de Versailles, from May 16 to May 18. It is described as the “world’s rendezvous for startups and leaders”. Its numbers are significant: 100,500 attendees, 9000 startups, 1900 investors and 1900 journalists from 125 countries will participate.
The aim of VIVAtech is to celebrate innovation, bring together new talents and products in the tech industry within the same place for several days straight.
Americans have the famous CES Las Vegas, but Europeans have VIVA Technology.
Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook founder, even commented about VIVA Technology’s evolution and success: the “evolution over the last three years is impressive”. Moreover, the talents which are present there are “amazing”. Indeed, it attracts the very best from the tech field.
The VIVA Technology exhibition and trade/tech show offers a very complete program with speakers, innovations and side events.
For the 2019 edition of VIVA Technology, there will be 450 prestigious speakers such as Young Sohn (Samsung), Gillian Tans (Booking.com), Sébastien Missoffe (Google) or Bernard Arnault (LVMH).
Many topics and areas are covered. In addition, VIVA tech helps many startups to grow: “our model, which brings together startups and major groups, is an absolutely unique springboard, allowing startups to benefit from exceptional support and guidance to accelerate their development”, said Julie Ranty, General Manager of VIVA Tech.
That’s why The Home of Translation and Authôt are very proud to be part of this year’s VIVA Technology.

The Home of Translation is a professional language services provider. This group is specialized in translation and interpreting. They have a wide range of translating and transcribing services and offer their expertise in more than 60 languages. Today, they want to go further and offer their clients the possibility of live transcription from the interpreter or the translator.
That’s where Authôt’s technology comes in. Below you will see why and how.
Accessibility and globalization for VIVA Technology
In fact, our live transcription service is one of our new services. We started to commercialize it in 2018. For instance, two well-known French groups used it for their conferences: ESSEC and Aufeminin. ESSEC is a business school and Aufeminin is an online magazine for women.
Thanks to our collaboration with The Home of Translation, we continue to build on our momentum to offer digital accessibility along with multilingual and efficient technologies.
For this event, we really want to emphasize our shared passion – with our partner – for the words “quality” and “languages”.
Our Authôt live transcription solution and service meets many various requests and needs for different profiles and entities. By combining ever more relevant human expertise and new technologies, we gain in visibility, feedback and reputation.
These kinds of partnerships and meetings allow us to extend the scope of our expertise and address new challenges.
Our live transcription service is unique and is set to make waves in France and worldwide.
As BFM Business underlines, Authôt’s new solution is a “big step for online contents accessibility and live events for deaf and hearing-impaired people”.
With events like VIVA Technology, we can imagine and present endless possibilities and tech developments to help the entire world in different kinds of challenges.
To conclude, this partnership for VIVA Technology 2019 with The Home of Translation is truly important for us. We cannot wait for this event which promises to be of huge interest and full of technological discoveries!
